Good morning! Below is the plan for the first half of the week.
General Music This week, we will focus on using instruments--3rd and 4th will focus on recorder while PK-2nd will use the instruments we made last week. If you didn't get to it, no worries! You can take the time this week to create an instrument or simply clap/stomp/tap as needed. All students will need to access MusicPlayOnline. Links can be found here and on the General Music page of the website. For ease of access, you will not need login credentials. PK Beat/Tempo: On the top of the page, go to the Pre-K tab, and type "Sleepy Bunnies" in the search bar. Play the song (either under MP3 Accompaniments or Movies; they are the same song.) When the song is slow, lie down and pretend to sleep. When the song is faster, hop like a bunny to the beat! Rhythm Practice: In the left pane, go to "Rhythm Practice" and "Echo Rhythm." Without changing any preferences, select 01. This should bring you to a video called Rhythm Practice Echo Rhythm Play the video and repeat the rhythm by clapping, patting, or playing on your homemade instrument. Speak and play it for your family! 2nd Rhythm Practice: In the left pane, go to "Rhythm Practice" and "Read, Clap & Play." Change notation preference to and select 02. In the rhythm of the week box of your Bingo sheet, spell out your name using the Rhythm Spelling worksheet. 4th Individual: In the left pane, go to "Recorder." Learn to play at least two of the songs in numbers 9-38. Zoom (optional): Prepare to test for your next Recorder Karate belt. Watch for an email with info for Zoom later today.
