Good morning everyone!
It's great to be back from break! I pray you had a restful break. At my house, I had the chance to video chat over Easter dinner, start a knitting project, play around with the Acapella app, and snuggle my kitties. I'd love to hear about some of the things you did! We only have a few weeks left in the school year. You can expect each week to look as follows: Monday Assignments posted here by 8am; finished products can be emailed directly to me as they are completed. Tuesday Zoom Meetings These meetings are completely optional, but a great way to stay connected and to receive help on individual work if you like. For 3rd and 4th grade, we will spend the majority of the time on Recorder Karate belt testing. 3rd 10-10:30 4th 10:30-11 5/6 Band 11-11:30 7/8 Band 11:30-12 5/6 Choir 12-12:30 7/8 Choir 12:30-1 Thursday Brief check-in and updates as needed. For this week, I would like to hear from everyone a list of four songs that have kept you in a good mood the last few weeks. These songs must be school appropriate. (If you don't feel comfortable having Fr. Joseph listen to it, it may not not be a good song to share.) Feel free to ask your friends and family about what they've been listening to as well. This Thursday, I will post a playlist on my YouTube channel. I will continue to update it as song suggestions come in. We may not be able to make music together, but we can still listen together! Miss Fletcher's Four Songs: - October by Eric Whitacre - Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles - No One is Alone from Into the Woods - Somewhere Over the Rainbow as performed by Israel Kamakawwiwo'ole
